Deah Nix | owner, rootology

Deah grew up in a very small town on Galveston Bay, and moved here from League City, TX. Deah, her husband and two youngest daughters moved here to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city life. Together, Deah and her husband have five children and two grandchildren. She is a Jesus lover and follower. She has a huge passion for all things hair, loves being creative and her favorite part of her job is being able to invest into people’s lives through hair! Deah loves a good haircut of any kind, is a Master Colorist, Blonding Specialist, Certified Balayage Specialist, as well as being certified in Brazillian Blowouts. Her favorite coloring service is a lived-in look!

Sarah wylie | salon managEr

Sarah grew up in Fredericksburg, and has been back since 2020. When she’s not the lady in charge at the salon, you can find her pouring wine at Lincoln Street or substitute teaching dance classes at Releve Dance Studios. While she wears many hats, her favorite job is motherhood. Sarah lives with her precious daughter Lillian and their three pets, who are all rescues.

Peyton Farnhof | microblading specialist | lip blush pmu specialist

Peyton has been a microblading specialist for 4 years. She is a mother of two little kids, has a flower farm and loves to travel and be outdoors.

Becky Coronado | cutting specialist, colorist

Becky has been doing hair since 2013. She was born and raised in Fredericksburg and has made the move back home with her husband and beautiful twin babies Eva and Elias!

She enjoys doing low maintenance lived in color, fun vibrant fashion color, modern shag cuts and men’s/women’s short cuts as well.

Carlie guess | stylist, colorist

Carlie went to school in Austin at Avenue Five Institute. She has a passion for all things hair! She is constantly seeking ways to grow her craft and is certified in Masters of Balayage and Brazilian Blowouts. When she isn’t behind the chair she loves spending time with her family and being outdoors.

AMANDA-MARIE NICHOLAS | LASH ARTIST, ESTHETICIAN

A Texan oncology esthetician from Austin, Amanda-Marie is here for all of your lash, brow, and facial questions. Specializing in immunocompromised, aging, and hormonal skincare, she works with her clients on getting to their skin care goals - ultimately feeling comfortable in the skin they are in. Licensed within the state of Texas, a graduate of Texas Laser & Aesthetics Training Academy (TLATA), as well as certified in Oncology Aesthetics through Oncology Training International (OTI), and a Reiki Master she utilizes Western and Eastern treatments to provide her clients with the utmost service. When not with clients, Amanda-Marie enjoys spending time with her family sailing, cooking, and hiking with her cat Bramble.

Amanda Mattocks | makeup artist

Based in Fredericksburg with over 8 years of experience, I specialize in creating bridal or special occasion makeup customized to your desires, or full or natural glam looks that enhance your natural beauty. I strive to make clients feel both confident and radiant for their special occasions and I can’t wait to work with you!

jaycie constantine | apprentice

Jaycie just graduated from cosmetology school from Paul Mitchell in San Antonio and is eager to hit the floor. She loves all things hair, and I looks forward to continuing her education apprenticing to sharpen her already amazing skills! She enjoys blonding services, vivid colors and all cuts. You’ll also catch her working the front desk too from time to time as well!

hannah Swanepoel | stylist

Hannah is originally from Minnesota, but has been soaking up the Texas sun with her husband and three dogs for the last five years. Aside from being a hairstylist, Hannah enjoys hunting with her husband and enjoying quality time with their fur-babies. Her passion with hair lies in hair color. She absolutely loves highlighting, balayage and creating vibrant all-over color!
